June 5

Headline: Summer 2020 — Unlike Any Other

I try to get through this with grace.

I’m masked when I go any place.

But days when it’s sunny

Once home, I look funny

With tan lines all over my face.

  1. Love the limericks!! Spot on.
FYI Today is National Donut Day and World Environment Day. Never knew that a donut got it’s own day.

    1. Thanks, Smitty! Yes, there was an amazing National Donut Day Parade up 5th Avenue this morning. I hope you didn’t miss the huge Apple & Spice Donut balloon. It was awesome. And tomorrow is National Yo-Yo Day! The whole government is celebrating! Best to Onno!

      1. I’m sorry I missed the parade. But I can imagine a huge Apple and Spice Donut Balloon. I personally prefer a freshly made apple cider donut.
I am hopeful that we’ll get rid of this imposter President in 5 months before he does more damage. I think he’s doing a good job demonstrating his pettiness, lack of leadership and inability to show compassion.
All the best to you and the family and keep them limericks coming!!!
