Occasional Limerick #44: Trump Criticizes Bishop’s Inauguration Sermon

What a ridiculous sermon –

To show mercy to all those vermin!

My sermon is strength,

As was preached at great length,

Way back in the ’30s, in German.

  1. Great content, great last two lines. Quibble: second line doesn’t quite scan. Perhaps “Showing mercy to all of those vermin.”
